Question:
Can I hook this lite into the extra hole on one of my tail lights or will it cause a short. If not where do I need to hook it into? Thanks in advance.

The Sealed, 3-Light Truck and Trailer Identification Light Bar, # MC99RB, is designed to tap into the running light circuit on the trailer wiring. If you have tail lights that have an output for an auxiliary running light, it could be attached to it. Otherwise, you will need to tap into the running light wiring that runs to one of the tail lights.
Adding additional lights may cause an excessive power draw on the wiring system. This can cause the trailer lights on the trailer to not function correctly. If the towing vehicle has a powered system (the trailer lights receive most of their power from the vehicle battery) then adding these three lights will not pose a problem.
Should one of the lights become damaged or needs replaced, we carry the Mini Trailer Clearance, Side Marker Light, # MC11RB, which is a complete assembly to replace one of the 3 lights on the bar. If just the bulb burns out and needs replaced, we have Replacement Side Marker Light Bulb, # A194B.
