Size Socket Needed to Install Curt Hitch C14011 on a 2000 Ford Excursion
Updated 05/16/2017 | Published 05/15/2017 >
Question:
I saw a similar question on the factory bolts used on the 2000 Ford Excursion as compared to 2001 - 2005 model years. For installation with the Curt C14011 hitch, is the factory nuts in the frame14mm or 18mm? It sounds like the Curt hitch comes with the 18 mm bolts. Thank you in advance for your answer.

The install bolts that come with the Curt Hitch part # C14011 for your 2000 Ford Excursion require an 18 mm socket.
Check out the install instructions link I attached below for more info on that.
