I have a 2013 Kia Optima. I am needing a roof rack for a cargo carrier. I have been looking a products, but want to know exactly what it is I need to purchase. Thanks,

For a reasonably priced roof rack I recommend the Inno Roof Rack # INXB108-115, # INXS200, and # INK607. This roof rack features Black low-profile aerodynamic crossbars and the rack has locks to secure the rack to your roof.

We have several cargo boxes that will work with the Inno roof rack. First I recommend the Thule Pulse # TH614. This is a 14-cu ft. roof box that measures 67-inches x 35-inches x 16-inches, and has a 110-lb capacity. I have attached a link to an installation video for this roof box on an Optima you can check out.

For as less-expensive option you can take a look at the Thule SideKick, part # TH78GC. This is an 8-cubic ft carrier that measures 54-inches long x 25-inches wide x 15-1/2 inches high, and it has a weight capacity of 75-lbs. This roof box weighs just 20-lbs.

To be able to reach the center of the roof box I also recommend a tire step like part # HE4040. This has a weight capacity of 400-lbs and folds flat for easy storage.
