Question:
Hello. Will this harness fit a 2000 Ford F-350?I have a Pollak 12-705 connector in the bed. This harness would replace the defective aftermarket wiring already in place. Are the wire colors the same as the 12-705?Can i shorten the free end of the harness without damaging it?I only need about 4 feet. Thanks so much for your time.

I spoke with my contact at Pollack and he informed that the Pollak 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Connector Wiring, part # PK11932, would be the harness that you would need for your 2000 Ford F-350.
The wires of the # 12-705 should wire up color for color to the # PK11932, and as long as take your time and use plenty of electrical tape to insulate the wires after you connect them you should not have to worry about damaging any components.
When I spoke with my contact at Pollack he strongly recommended that you upgrade your # 12-705 to a Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, part # PK11893. He said, and I quote, that this connector is the the cats meow and you will be tickled pink if you were to upgrade to it.
