Question:
I previously asked for the measurements on the Demco Recon. Michael H. Replied with a Pic showing some numbers a little less than expected Professional Expert Reply. Front to back ISR rails are a little less than 22 inches apart on center.inch So if I mount my ISR rails in my bed, A little less than 22, All will work!! Isnt it true the PIN legs mounts should be measured leading edge to leading edge, or trailing edge to trailing edge. thus center to center is same. Can someone tell me the actual number, and the overall frame outside measurement? W x L x H. Measure the base with and without the yoke. I want to know where I can stow it when not in my bed.

Expert Reply:
The Demco Recon 5th wheel trailer hitch # DM8550043 tabs that fit in the rails are 21-15/16 inches apart on center. The measurement given by manufacturers is almost always listed as 22 inches. I went ahead and pulled the hitch and measured it at just a hair under 22 inches.
Overall width of hitch is 24-13/16 inches
Overall length of hitch is 24 inches
I have 5 height measurements for you.
With head on:
Base to top of hitch in lowest position 15-1/2 inches
Base to top of hitch in highest position 18 inches
With yoke but no head:
Base to top of yoke lowest position 12-1/4 inches
Base to top of yoke highest position 14-1/2 inches
Without yoke:
Base to top-most part of hitch 6-5/8 inches
