Can the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-061 be Installed with the U-Bolt on the Underside of Ball Mount

Question:

Your video for the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch shows it being installed with the outer ring being placed over the top of the hitch receiver collar and the tumbler to the bottom of the ball mount. Question: Can it reversely be installed with the outer ring being placed over the bottom of the hitch receiver collar with the tumbler to the top of the ballmount instead? Would that present any problems?

Installing the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2 inch Trailer Hitches, item # RM-061, with the U-Bolt around the underside of the hitch receiver would not present a problem. You will just need to make sure there is room at the top of the receiver to tighten the nuts and lock nuts on the U-Bolt.
