Flat towing Grand Cherokee behind 2003 phaeton diesel pusher all tail lights work but brake lights on jeep what is the problem

If just the brake lights are not working on your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee when it is being flat towed behind your Phaeton RV, I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to first test the functions on the trailer connector at the rear of the RV. Check to make sure all of the needed functions are providing a circuit, particularly the stop light function.
Also, if your RV has separate wiring, you will need to install a converter like the Roadmaster Brite-Lite # RM-732. This is needed to convert a 3 wire electrical system on the RV to a 2-wire system on the towed vehicle. Three wire systems use a separate wire to carry the brake signal, while two wire systems have the brake and turn signals sent along the same wire.
