Question:
Im looking to purchase a hitch for my challenger, but i would like to know which one is most off the ground I have ordered a Curt hitch before and the 2 inch opening for the ball mount was welded under the actual hitch bar that attached to the frame. I see there are several options from Curt hitches that you guys have and on one of them, in the picture i see a round tube instead of square and that the receiver is welded straight from it. Is it true or is it just the picture for ad purposes?

The picture of Curt trailer hitch # C13236 is correct but that is just one design that is available for the 2016 Dodge Challenger. Hitch # C13093 has the square tube with the receiver below the cross tube. The round tube design though, # C13236, would have slightly better ground clearance than the square tube design. The receiver will basically be right beneath the bottom of the rear fascia. Please note # C13236 does not fit models that have quad-tip exhaust.
If you plan on doing some towing the recommended ball mount is # C45030. It has a 1 inch rise or 2-1/4 inch drop. For a 2 inch ball use # 63845 or for a 2-5/16 inch ball use # 63847. If the ball mount does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for a trailer wiring harness you can use # 118656 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle.
