I have an under bed option for you, but since Valley Industries went out of business about 5 years ago (2012) they have not produced any underbed kits that will work with your sliding Valley Industries 5th Wheel Hitch on your 2017 Ram 3500.

The only under bed rail system that is available for your 2017 Ram 3500 with a 6 foot bed is the Demco Custom Install Below Bed Rails # DM8551006. These rails are only compatible with the Demco Autosliding 5th Wheel Hitches. You can either use the 18K # DM8550022 or the 21K # DM8550037 depending on the weight of your trailer.

If you have the 8 foot bed on your Ram then you will need to use the B&W Custom Underbed Installation Kit # BWGNRK1314-5W along with the B&W Companion # BWRVK3500-5W.

If your 3500 does not come with the factory prep package, then you can use the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP50085-58, or for a quicker install you can use part # RP56010-53. Either of these will fit both the 6 foot or 8 foot bed and both are compatible with 5th wheel hitches that require industry standard rails like the # C16140 or the Curt # C16541.

I also recommend making sure that you have a 7-Way wiring harness installed in your Ram's bed so that connecting and disconnecting your trailer is much easier. You can use the Hopkins Wiring Harness # 41157 to do so.
