The Curt Trailer Hitch, # 11383, is designed to fit the 2010 and 2011 Mazda 3 Hatchback but not the sedan. I have included a link to the trailer hitches available for the Sedan, Non-Grand Touring model for you to view. The equivalent hitch for your 4 door Mazda 3 is Curt Trailer Hitch, # 11393. I have included a link to the installation details for reference.
The hitch comes with the recommended ball mount, pin and clip. You can use ball # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, you will need T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118420. I have included a link to the installation details and a video showing a typical installation.
