Replacement Sidewinder Pin Box Recommendation for Fabex 663 Pin Box

Question:

i have a 1999 f250 short box super duty. with a bandw companion 5th wheel hitch. the pin box on the trailer is a fabex, model 663. i cannot turn a 90 degree turn. is there a pin box that will give me a enough clearance to turn a 90 degree turn and will work with my companion hitch. thank you

The Sidewinder part # RP34FR will replace your Fabex 663 pin box and give you additional turning clearance, but since you have a Companion hitch you can't use a Sidewinder since that hitch attaches via a gooseneck hitch post in the center of it. Due to the twisting torque the Sidewinder puts on hitches you have to use a hitch that attaches in all 4 corners.

It's probably not the solution you want but you would have to remove the B and W gooseneck hitch and install a Reese rail kit like the part # RP50082-58 and then go with a stationary hitch like the # RP30047. This would work great with a Sidewinder.
