Question:
I have a chevy truck with a fiberglass cap. I want a simple round or sq bar to bolt on the top to carry my kyak or a ladder. Cant find what I need.

For a simple rack for your fiberglass cap, I recommend the Swagman Roamer LT Roof Rack for Pop-Up Campers and Camper Shells - Steel - 7' Long - 150 lbs # S80510. This will give you square bars with fixed mounting points.
If you are interested in adjustable crossbars, I recommend using the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System w/ 2 Vortex Aero Crossbars - Track Mount - Black - 59" Long # Y02-490B. These bars will also have the t channel for rack mounted accessories and a more aerodynamic design for less noise.
