The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11356 does come with the fish wire so that you can properly install the included hardware.
Please note that per Curt, the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap # 18050 must be used for all non-trailer loads, such as bike racks, cargo carriers and such. Otherwise the warranty for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11356 will be void.
If you will be using the hitch for towing, then I recommend using the Curt Class II Drawbar # C45016 along with either the 2 inch Hitch Ball # A-82 or the 1-7/8 inch Hitch Ball # A-80, whichever is correct for your application. The drawbar has a 2-5/8 inch Rise and a 3-1/4 inch Drop; I have attached an article that you should check out about selecting a drawbar with the correct rise or drop to make sure that the C45016 will work for you.
To help deter theft of your drawbar you can use our etrailer.com Hitch Receiver Lock # e98879.
