Question:

I have a 2015 RAM 1500 4x4 crew cab that I need to set up to tow behind my RV. I have an Excali-Bar II tow bar and Brake Budy Vantage system. I need the base plate, Taillight lighting system and flex coil wire plug for my truck to make it ready to tow.

If your Ram 1500 is a Sport or Express model, the base plates I recommend are part # RM-298-1. If your truck is not the Sport, Express, Laramie Limited, or Rebel, the base plates I recommend are part # RM-52289-4.

You will then need the adapter # RM-032 that will let you use the base plates with your Excali-bar ll tow bar.

The tow bar lighting kit I recommend is part # RM-154. This includes a 4-way connector to attach to your motorhome. The flex-Coil adapter I recommend to install between your Ram and the motorhome is part # 47015.

Chances are you will need a high-low adapter to make sure you tow your truck level. I have attached a helpful article that explains how to choose the right adapter for you and a link to the high-low adapters we offer.
