Question:
I am looking to install a hitch to pull a small trailer that I plan to rent for an upcoming move. What are my options for a 2016 Honda HRV XLE auto 2wd? Thank you

I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C11416. This is a Class l hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening.
You will need a ball mount and ball so I recommend part # 3593 for a ball mount. This comes with a hitch pin and clip.
For a 2-inch hitch ball I recommend part # 19258 and for a 1-7/8 inch ball you can use part # 19256.
Since you plan on towing you will also need a trailer connector if you do not have one. For that I recommend part # C56284.
