Can Yakima Roof Rack with SKS Locks be Removed When it is Locked to Vehicles Roof

My Yakima roof rack is currently locked in place on my truck. The keys i was given do not unlock the SKS lock cores. The key is black and imprinted with the #: 581. How can i unlock my lock cores?

Since your towers are locked and you do not have the correct keys your best bet is to call a locksmith. This means you'll likely need to replace the lock cores.
The key number for Yakima SKS Lock Cores # Y07204 is found on the side of the lock cylinder. It cannot be read if the cores are installed. The replacement key will be # Y8772-**** with the last 4 characters being the lock number like # Y8772-A149 for lock A149.
The lock cores are removed while unlocked using a Control Key # Y8007835.
