2016 Dodge 2500 HD 6.4L Hemi, With Cirrus 820 Camper. I have 6.6 ft bed and the camper overhangs. There are pull down stairs. I want a hitch to pull a small trailer or put a rack in the extended hitch. I can send a picture.

We do offer many trailer hitch adapters that will extend the hitch receiver on your 2016 Ram 2500. The particular product you need will depend on how far out the hitch needs to be extended to clear your Cirrus 820 Camper, and the amount of weight you plan on towing with the small trailer or carrying with a hitch-mounted rack. You can take a measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch to the outermost edge of the camper to see what kind of clearance you will need.
For example, the Curt Extender # C45796 is for 2 inch receivers and can extend the receiver from the center of the hitch pin hole to up 18 inches. Keep in mind also that the use of any hitch adapter/extender is going to reduce the tongue weight of your trailer hitch by 50%. For example, if you have a Class IV trailer hitch installed on your Ram 2500 with a 1,000 tongue weight capacity, this will be reduced to 500 pounds when using an extender.
