I am having a heck of time finding a solution for my 2001 Xterra. The elliptical bars are too wide for most kayak carriers. Can your product accommodate it? Please advise. Regards

Your 2001 Nissan Xterra bars are really thick, but I reached out and checked with Thule and the Stacker kayak carrier # TH830 is listed as a confirmed fit for your factory crossbars.
If you prefer Yakima, the JayLow Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - J-Style - Folding - Side Loading # Y04073 is also a confirmed fit.
