Question:

I am interested in a trailer hitch fo my rv, not primarily for towing, but, mounting a carrier or cargo rack. I have a 89 chevy g30 rv on a 1 ton frame. It was a cutaway van. There is a waste water tank mounted underneath where the hitch would normally span, brackets would required to reach the frame. I can send you photos of the under carriage to assist you, let me know if you want them. Thanks

For your 1989 Chevy Van Cutaway, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 41121. If this will not fit with the waste water tank, then I recommend the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703. If these brackets won't fit, you will need to make a completely custom hitch made by a professional welder.
