Question:
Please recommend a suspension upgrade for my 2014 KZ Durango model 336 fifth wheel. My two axle leaf spring system is factory original. Im looking at several options, including an air type, but would appreciate having your opinion regarding the best option. Thanks!

For the smoothest ride on your 2014 KZ Durango model 336 5th wheel trailer, I recommend the Lippert Components Trailair by Center Point Air-Ride Suspension Upgrade - Tandem Axle # LC1565391. This will give you two air bags that absorb the road shock and reduce trailer chucking. This system improves the ride of the trailer, but also improves braking in a quick stop situation.
Another great option is the Timbren Silent Ride Suspension for Tandem Axle Trailers w/ 3" Round Axles like # TSR14KT01. This system evenly distributes weight between the two axles. It has pivoting arms that help keep your trailer level on uneven ground. It uses rubber springs to absorb road shock. The double aeon rubber springs act as return devices to mimimize rattle and the compress and become stiffer and stronger as the load increases. This system is virtually maintenance free. The installation does require a 2 inch by 4 inch hollow steel crossmember.
If you want a more cost efficient option, the next best option is the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter Axle - 5-5/8" Equalizers # K71-652-00.
