Question:

Will this support 21k lbs?? also most importantly if a bag fails, what is the failure state?? if multiple bags fail what is the failure state? What is the installation like? You guys say that this unit will raise the height of the trailer by 2inch does that apply if you already have a standard equaflex suspension? Looking to put this on my Grand Design Momentum 397TH Tripple axle RV.

I spoke with my contact at Lippert and he informed me that the Center Point part # LC1565391 will support a 21,000 lb trailer. That being said, since you have a triple axle trailer you would want the part # LC1565401 instead. Bag failure is extremely unlikely but if it were to fail you would still be able to travel.

I attached a couple pictures that detail the installation. It basically just replaces you current equalizers and shackles. They attach to your hangers and then directly to the springs.

Since the equaflex equalizers replace standard equalizers the ride height difference would be about the same.

I have a 2018 jayco seismic 4212 that has a gvw of 21k. It does have the more Ryde 3000 I have actually already broke two leaf springs and a hanger bracket also cracked and failed. My question is, should the hanger that this unit would attach to be beefed up to install as it seems much heavier then the current mor ryde set up.

As long as your existing center hangers are the right standard size (for a 1-3/4" leaf spring width and at least 2-1/2" from equalizer hole to top of hanger) there really shouldn't be a need to replace them or modify them in any way. I'm not sure what would have caused your old hanger to crack but that's not something we normally see. You might just make sure you aren't overloading the trailer and that the axles themselves are in good shape.

I’m not sure why they failed but the trailer has never had anything in the toy hauler part and has never weighed over 19k. Thanks for the info.

No problem at all. I do think it's a good idea to try and take it up to a local trailer shop/dealer just to have them take a look at the axles and suspension setup to make sure everything is in good condition.
