2014 Toyota Highlander 2 Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Carrying Bike Rack
Published 03/09/2017 >
Question:
It seems I have three choices for a trailer hitch for my 2014 Toyota Highlander. However it appears the options are really two since two of the pieces of equipment are identical. From everything I read it appears the CURT 13200 will not work with a full spare but the Hidden Hitch 87660 will? Doesnt this make the Hidden Hitch the better choice since the prices are within $10 or so? Based on your reviews qualities appear the same. We have already purchased a Thule Apex Swing 4 bike rack. Thanks

Best option for your 2014 Toyota Highlander for a trailer hitch is the Draw Tite part # DT65MR. This will allow you to keep the full sized spare like you mentioned. Hidden Hitch and Draw Tite are the same but since Hidden Hitch is getting phased out I would recommend sticking with the brand that is sticking around.
This will work well with your Thule Apex Swing bike rack too.
