Will Prodigy P2 and Primus IQ Use the Same Wiring Harness as the Pilot Brake Controller
Updated 03/07/2017 | Published 03/06/2017 >
Question:
Hi I currently have the Pilot 2-6 Brake Electronic Brake Controller - Time Delayed 80550. I am looking to switch to a proportional brake controller. I am looking at either the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional 90885 OR the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional TK90160. My question is, can I unhook the one I have Pilot and use the same wiring and hook up the new one without rewiring everything? Are the plug ins going to be the same? My tow vehicle is a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. Thanks.

The Prodigy P2 # 90885 and Primus IQ # TK90160 brake controllers use the same wiring connector as the Pilot controller you have now. So you will not have to rewire the new controller. All you will have to do is mount the new controller in your van and plug it in.
