Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2013 Dodge Durango

Question:
2013 Dodge Durango SXT without factory towing kit. Should I install a powered or un-powered wiring harness? Looks like both are available - ?

Expert Reply:
Powered kit will give you a safer harness that will protect the delicate taillight wiring of your Durango. The non-powered kit will be much easier to install but potentially could damage your vehicle wiring in the event of a short.
The best solution I can make is the part # 118552. This is a powered unit that is custom fit for your vehicle. It also is made by the most reliable trailer wiring harness brand we offer.
