Does the HM40978 mounting bracket for a 2008 Ford F 250 Super Duty, fit the factory wiring harness? My and 7 way and 4 way trailer wiring is good, my bracket is defective. Thanks!

The Pollak Replacement Bracket, # HM40978, is the replacement bracket for the Hopkins # HM40975.
This bracket might work on your OEM connector. You will have to look at the measurements of your old mount or the measurements of your connector to see if it will work with this mounting bracket.
I have attached a picture that will display the dimensions of this bracket for you to compare.
