B&W Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch With Factory Puck System Compatibility With Revolution Pin Box

Question:

I have a 2016 ram 3500 quad cab long bed dually. I have a B and W RVK 3600 Companion 5th wheel hitch installed in the factory puck system on the truck . I have bought a model 2650 WS Rockwood fifth wheel with a Reese revolution pin box on it. My question is are they compatible ? I have heard if you lock the pin box in place and take out the wedge,then you can use the box with this hitch. There is a sticker on the Companion 5th wheel hitch that says that you cant use the hitch with a Reese revolution or sidewinder. More money more problems? Thanks for the help

Your B&W Companion Hitch # BWRVK3600 is compatible with a Revolution Pin Box on your Rockwood 2650 WS fifth wheel trailer using the 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for B&W Fifth Wheels # SWW-06. The sticker you are referring to is put on all the Companion hitch heads, but this compatibility is only and issue with the Companion hitches that attach into the B&W gooseneck systems. This won't be an issue with your Companion with the factory puck system.

You do have the option of locking the revolution pin box, but I can't imagine why you would want to do that because your hitch can handle it and it is a really nice feature.
