How to Select Replacement Grease Seals for Boat Trailers
Updated 02/09/2017 | Published 02/08/2017 >
Question:
I need to replace grease seals on both my boat trailers. One is 94 EZ Loader and the other is 93 Yacht Club. Both have the same bearings, L44649 inner and L68149 outer. They have different seals though. One is TB 1693 2559 0500 and the other is 171256500T8. I would appreciate your help in locating replacement seals for those applications.

Thank you for the grease seal part numbers you provided. I was not able to find a seal cross reference for these so to select replacements your best bet is to measure your spindle diameters and hub bores to get the required inner and outer seal diameters. Use a precision digital caliper like # PTW80157.
Then use the linked page and simply click on the filters for your inner and outer seal diameters to see the options in that size. You can also click on your preference for single- or double-lip type seals.
