Yes, you can convert your Curt A-20 5th wheel hitch to become a slider compatible with a 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 with Factory Rail Kit. You will need the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Chevy/GMC Towing Prep # C16023, as well as the Curt R20 Round Tube Slider for Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 12" Travel # C16550.
This will convert your Factory Rail Kit to be used with a slider, and then convert your fixed hitch to a slider.
