Question:

Hi, I want to run the light bar as Daytime Running Lights on the rear of my vehicle. Have front running lights wired in to the ignition circuit, so they are on when the ignition is on. Plan to wire the RA960137 into the front running lights. I do have a 7 pole trailer connector that I could plug into, but would prefer to have them on my front DRLs. Turn signals, brake light, signal lights, and back lights would be nice, but not a deal breaker. Would you recommend I look at other options? TLB-001, BLS-1103 Tailgate is 58 and 5/8 inches, so will go with the 48 inch light strip Thanks for your help.

For your 2012 Nissan Frontier with 59-5/8 inch tail gate, I recommend using the Rampage SuperBrite LED Tailgate Light Bar - Stop, Tail, Turn, Reverse - 4-Pole Flat - 49" Long, # RA960137. This will allow you to use all the functions you want. I highly recommend hardwiring this to the wires just before your 7 way connector to still give you your trailer connection. You can tap into the running lights, turn signals, brake lights and reverse light functions right there without running extra wire. I've attached a photo of your 7 way functions with colors to make this easy. I recommend using Quick Splice Wire Connector 14-18 AWG (Qty 1), # SWC501925-1 for these connections. You may consider using a harness like # HM48030 to give you the 4 way function without cutting your light bar end in case you ever need to replace it.
