Can Weight Distribution be Used in Ford 3 inch Hitch
Published 01/19/2017 >
Question:
I have a 2017 f250 with a 3-inch receiver. Is there something like this made to fit better in my receiver instead of having to use two reduction sleeves? If not, any way of snugging the whole system up or should I not worry about it?

We don't have any weight distribution shanks to fit a 3 inch hitch directly but at this time we do have ones that will fit a 2-1/2 inch hitch which might help reduce some of the play. For a Reese we have the # RP3215. This would bring you down to using only one hitch reducer.
Typically the amount of spring bar tension that a weight distribution system puts on the hitch reduces all of the movement and anti-rattle devices aren't needed.
