Question:
I believe I need the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit #BX2628 for my 2013 Ford Edge 2.0 EcoBoost - no adaptive cruise control. I already have a Roadmaster StowMaster 5000 tow bar s/n 091045. Will the Blue Ox base plate work with the Roadmaster towbar and if so, do I need the Roadmaster Tow Bar Adapter RM-031 or RM-031-5?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Stowmaster you have cannot be used with Blue Ox base plate kits as the available adapters are not compatible with the Stowmaster. Your best option would be to go with a Blue Ox tow bar part # BX7380 since the only base plate for your vehicle available is the # BX2628 by Blue Ox.
