Published 12/27/2016 >
Question:
Hi should I waterproof connector plug RV TO DEFENDER . The power box has cover and was wondering if should maybe put a plastic bag around it or tape . To keep water out. Or would be to hot and melt or catch fire, how should I water proof. Heavy rain and snow. The unit is large and not all will be under the RV hook up box. Maybe a plastic box?? Thanks Love eTrailer they have everything I needed for my Fifth wheel

The Camco RV Power Defender Voltage Monitor # CAM55306 is weather resistant. Which means that if you kept it out of direct rain fall or snow it's going to be just fine. If you wanted to use it in a small plastic box to protect it from the elements that would be just fine.
