Question:
Good Morning I currently have a 2015 Ford Edge with a naked roof no side rails and need to add a rack system to support a ski box. This is my company supplied vehicle that will be replaced in April with a Chevy Equinox LT that has side rails on the roof that will allow me to attach crossbars to it. My question is this: Can I purchase a system that will allow me to attach crossbars to my Ford Edge and then use this same system to attach the crossbars to my new Equinox. My hope is that the Towers can be upgraded to allow me to use them on both vehicles. Thank you for your help.

The Yakima roof rack part numbers # Y00421, # Y28TR, # Y06102, and # Y06139 that you referenced will give you a roof rack that will allow you to reuse the crossbars but due to the different roof style between the 2015 Ford Edge and the Chevy Equinox that would be the only portion of the rack that would fit both vehicles.
