Can Front-Mount Trailer Hitch Be Installed On 2013 Chevrolet Silverado With Grille Guard Installed
Published 12/23/2016 >
Question:
Will one of your front mount receiver hitches mount on a 2013 2500HD duramax, that already has a ranch hand brush guard installed?

Expert Reply:
The front-mount trailer hitches we offer for your 2013 Silverado require removing the tow hooks and then re-installing them after the hitch has been installed.
This same location is used by some of the grille guards we offer so you can check out the attached installation instructions for the Curt Hitch, part # C31023 to see if the grille guard you have would interfere with the hitch installation. Our manufacturers say they have not tested the installation of their hitches with the grille guard so they cannot say whether they would work or not.
To be honest, I doubt they can be installed with the guard in place.
