Question:
Want to put a folding rack on back of 95 Wrangler with the spare tire on the back. How long of an adapter would I need to have the rack fold up against the spare tire? Thanks

In order to determine how much distance you would need to be able to fit a folding bike or cargo rack on the back of your Wrangler you would need to measure the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on your receiver hitch to the furthest point of your spare tire. That distance would be how much distance you would need for clearance to install a folding bike or cargo rack on your 1995 Jeep Wrangler.
If you email me back with that measurement I could come up with a folding bike rack or cargo carrier solution for you.
The Hitch Adapter, 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch - 11 inch Long, part # HTAD, you referenced could give you more clearance to install a folding bike or cargo rack if you needed it. However, using this adapter will cut your tongue weight capacity in half.
If you are looking for a bike rack another option you have is to go with a spare tire mounted bike rack. I would recommend the Yakima SpareRide 2 Bike Carrier - Spare Tire Mount, part # Y02599. This rack has various adapters to fit various tire sizes.
