Question:
Can you please tell me what size hole saw I should use for the 6 1/2 sealed tail light with rubber grommet? Thank you so much.

I went out to the warehouse and grabbed an Optronics Trailer Light, # STL70RB, and the compatible rubber grommet, # A70GB, put them together and took some measurements. The part that will be inserted into the back of the trailer is 2-3/8 inches wide by 6-3/8 inches across. If you plan on using a hole saw I would start smaller, like a 2 inch. You can then gradually make the hole larger until the grommet with the light in it fits.
This light will also require the Straight 3-Wire Pigtail for Sealed Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Lights, # A45PB, or the Right Angle 3-Wire Pigtail for Sealed Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Lights, # A47PB, since the light has a plug in the back but no bare wires.
