My car is made 2015 Ford Escape with tires 235/55-17. Do I need to buy a snow chain with S-Class compatible restrictions? Thanks.

On page 254 of your owner's manual it states that the largest chains you can use are 10 mm cables or chains only on front axle with 235/55R17 tires. Some tire chains are not Class S rated but are less than 10 mm.
I recommend staying on the safe side and use Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part # PW2029C. These cables are a low profile so you get a smoother ride and they come with a tote for storage.
I also recommend rubber adjusters like part # PW105 to hold the chains more securely when installed.
