Why Would 1993 Chevy Cheyenne 2500 have 34 inch Frame for Fitting Front Hitch 31042 to it

Question:
I would like to know if this front hitch would fit my vehicle. In your tech tip you mention that this front hitch would not fit a 34inch frame. What exactly does this mean and would my 1993 C/K 2500 pick up have such a frame? I want to make sure that I buy the right item the first time. I will also be purchasing a winch hitch receiver mount. Please advise if this is the right front hitch for my vehicle. Let me know if you need any other information. Thanks

Cab and chassis trucks will have frames that measure 34 inches from outside to outside. This is a few inches narrower than most truck frame dimensions and why the Curt Hitch part # 31042 wouldn't be a fit for them.
You can measure your truck frame to be certain but if your truck has a normal truck bed on it this hitch would fit just fine.
