The Crossbar spacing on my rack is 26.25inch Will this rack fit that spacing?

Curt cargo basket # C18115 is designed to fit crossbar spreads of 15", 22", or 29" apart on center. At 26-1/4 inches your crossbars would have to be no wider than 1-5/8 inches for it to mount to your 1995 Subaru Legacy.
I recommend Thule basket # TH859XT. It fits a crossbar spread of 20 inches - 37 inches. It is also designed to fit a most widths of bars.
