Replacement Pin Box Recommendation for Lippert 1621 to Reduce Chucking
Published 11/10/2016 >
Question:
I have a question. I have a 2017 Ford F250. I recently installed my fifth wheel hitch and reese rails with brackets. I have a problem with the truck or trailer chucking a lot. I have had this same setup on my previous truck 2016 F250 with no issues. The 2017 changed a bit suspension wise. What would be my best choice, going with air bags for truck or replacing my pin box with a reese air borne? Lippert 1621

A cushioned pin box would be your best option but before you go that route you should make sure that your trailer is setting level. There might have been a height change between the two trucks and not the trailer isn't setting level when being towed.
Since you have a Lippert 1621 pin box you would want the Flex Air part # LC328492 as it will provide you the smoothest ride quality.
