Question:
I would like to know if the 2 step that you have attaches to the current bolts on the bottom of the rv ,which is 26@3quarters of an inch center to center,or does it attach to my frame on my rv which has a 5 inch or a 7 inch bolt pattern spread

Expert Reply:
Step # SMFP-2100 is supposed to mount up to factory holes on the bottom of the frame or it can be welded to the frame. For nuts and bolts use # LC118155-72 if you don't already have some from the old steps. For welding the installation should be performed by a professional welder.
In some cases outriggers # LC301704 are needed but that depends on the model of your original stairs. Based on the 26-3/4 inch measurement you would need the outriggers because the center to center mounting holes on step SMFP-2100 is 24-1/2 inches.
