Expert Reply:
You can replace the Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Springs - 5-3/4" Long - 9/16" Center Hole, # TREQ104, with the Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Springs - 6-1/8" Long - 9/16" Center Hole, # TREQ356. Even though you can replace these parts, moving to a longer equalizer will cause one axle to have a disproportional amount of weight on it. The smooth transfer of the impact won't be distributed as effectively which will cause a rougher ride without as good traction. You may need to change your shackle straps to make this adjustment as well. I've attached an article on trailer suspension for you.
