Question:
Hi, I am looking to purchase two of these to install in my sprinter. I have 3 questions: Will I be able to use both remotes without any issues to control their respective fan? Is it possible to operate both fans with one remote? Can you recommend a specific product to use as sealant? Thanks

My contact at MaxxAir confirmed that if you install two of their MaxxFan Deluxe # MA00-07500K in your Sprinter you can use either remote control to operate both fans. The remotes are programmed the same so the one from one fan will still work the other fan too so long as there is a line-of-sight between the remote and the sensor on the vent. You do not have to program or pair the remote with the fans. This means you can use one remote and keep the other in a safe place as a spare.
For installation kits we offer two types. For vehicles/trailers with a metal roof use install kit # CAM25003 from Camco. If installed on a trailer with a rubber roof the correct kit would be # CAM25013.
Once installed I recommend applying a silicone rubber sealant around all fasteners and seams. We offer white sealant # 0160297 but local hardware stores will offer this same 100% silicone rubber caulk in many other colors.

I have two MaxxAir fans in a Ford Transit, and I actually want to use both remotes separately to control each fan separately. Is there a way to reprogram one remote so they aren't trying to operate both at the same time?
