Question:

I am looking for a replacement actuating arm for a 12inch x 2inch AK LO brake assembly 5200 lb axles - is this something you carry? The small rotating square part attached the arm that interacts with the shoes has broken, thus the need for replacement. Thanks.

We do carry a range of trailer brake replacement parts including actuating arms like those shown on the linked page. The actuating arms we offer for AL-KO brakes are for their larger size electric drum assemblies. Part # 568237 fits their 12-1/4 x 3-1/2-inch left-hand brake and part # 568236 fits right-hand brakes.

If you choose to replace the entire brake assembly, which usually involves a bit less grief than rebuilding one, then you may care to check the other link which displays all 12 x 2 brakes for 5200-lb axles. Be sure to note the mounting hole pattern on your flanges to ensure compatibility and also choose both left- and right-hand brake assemblies.
