It sounds like you are trying to deal with hyperflashing on your 2004 Dodge Ram.
You will need to install resistors on any of the light circuits that are having this problem like brakes, turn signals or flashers. You can use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to identify the lights with the issue. Then attach a wire on one end of the # DI34ZR to the positive wire for the light.
The white wire on the other end will need to be grounded to the frame or metal surface. I have attached a couple of drawings that show the correct and incorrect way to install resistors you can check out.
