Question:

The trunk-mount bike rack I recommend for your 2015 Camry is the Thule OutWay, part # TH45JV. This carrier uses only 2 retractable cables to secure the rack to the car versus other bike carriers that typically use 6 straps. The # TH45JV features an upgraded cradle system and includes a spacer between the bikes to keep the bikes from hitting one another and it has a locking system to secure the bikes to the carrier and the carrier to the vehicle to help deter theft. This bike carrier also fold flat for easy storage when not in use. If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance. The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2015 Camry is the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 36540. This is a Class ll trailer hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. One of the nicer bike racks we offer is the Thule T2 Pro XTR, part # TH69JV. This bike carrier allows you to tilt the rack whether it is loaded or unloaded for easier handling of the bikes. The rack also folds up toward the rear of your vehicle when not in use. This carrier comes with a hitch lock to secure the bike rack to your vehicle and locks for the bikes. The bike rack can be set up to carry 2 or 4 bikes. It has a capacity of 60-lbs per bike, and the carrier weighs 52-lbs when set up for 2 bikes or96 -lbs when set up for 4 bikes. The total capacity is 120 pounds when set up for 2 bikes or 160 pounds when set up for 4 bikes. . Another nice carrier is the Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Platform Rack, part # KU74FR. this bike rack also allows you to tilt it with bikes loaded for rear cargo access and easier loading and unloading.
