Question:
Im looking for a 1.25inch to 2inch adapter for a class II hitch on my 2013 Land Rover LR2. I need this to accommodate my bike rack, which requires a 2inch receiver. Unfortunately, I cannot find an adapter that fits. The problems is that I need a clearance of at least 2 3/4 inches from the trailing edge of the hitch pin hole to the leading edge of where the 2inch receiver begins. Do you have any product recommendations? Perhaps an adapter with an extra long shank?

The 10 inch hitch adapter # 80304 will give you a 2 inch receiver and about 3-1/2 inches from the center of the pin hole to the edge of the 2 inch tube. using the locations you measured and taking into the account of the weld it will be about 3 inches of space.
This is a 10 inch adapter so it's going to be an extension that is not really necessary. Also, whenever using an adapter you're going to cut your maximum tongue weight in half as well as get more movement and vibration from your bike rack. If this is the route you go you should add a stabilizing strap, like # 18050 to help keep your bike rack stable.
Another option is to replace the factory class II trailer hitch receiver on your 2013 Land Rover LR2 with a class III. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75688 will fit your LR2 and your bike rack. It may cost a little more, but the installation is easy and I think you'll be much happier with the outcome.
