Question:
Hello, I am interested in the hitch for my 2016 KIA Sorento, do you know of any reliable installers in the Kansas City area? thank you

Any trusted mechanic or an RV dealer with a service center can install a trailer hitch for your 2016 Kia Sorento.
If you want to use the hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier I actually recommend Draw-Tite hitch # 75908. The Curt hitch # C13195 requires the use of a stabilization strap # 18050 for any non-trailer accessory whereas the Draw-Tite hitch does not.
If you plan on towing then either hitch will work fine. I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
For trailer wiring you can use # C56332 if the vehicle came with the factory tow package or # HM11143820 if it did not come with the factory tow package.
