Question:

Saris 3 bike Bones rack - Will it work well, and does a womans bike need the adapter to allow it to work well? I am only planning on carrying two bikes rather than three - I assume that that is no problem.

For your 2001 Lexus LS 430 the Saris Bones part # SA801BL is a confirmed fit. This rack is one of the nicer trunk racks we offer that is lightweight and doesn't break the bank. It would be a great option for you. Only carrying 2 bikes with this rack would not be a problem at all either.

If you are going to carry womens bikes you really will want the adapter bar part # UB01 which will allow the bikes to be carried level.
