Question:
Which hitch cargo carrier with sides is recommended for a 2005 Jeep Liberty? The spare tire is on the rear gate, which Im afraid will get in the way of the carrier walls if the steel bar does not stick out far enough. Thank you. -

When we installed the Curt Hitch part # 13044 on a 2005 Jeep Liberty we found that from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest point out on the rear tire was 15 inches.
The Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18151 has 19 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the nearest rail so it would clear the rear spare and work well.
